Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and OptionHomes ("we", "us"). By using this site or any service on it, you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the site. You must be at least 18 to submit information or create an account.

What this site is

OptionHomes publishes statistics about licensed California real estate professionals, computed from public records of closed home sales and state licensing data, together with home-value estimates, market statistics, educational content, and an optional agent-matching service. It is an informational resource — not real estate, legal, tax, or financial advice. OptionHomes is not a real estate brokerage, not a lender, and not a credit broker; we do not make loans, take loan applications, or make credit decisions.

Home-value and equity estimates

Any home value, equity, or cash-access figure on this site is an estimate produced by automated models from public records and market data. An estimate is a starting point, not an appraisal, and may differ materially from what a home would actually sell for or what a lender would approve. We show ranges and our methodology rather than presenting one number as the truth. Never rely on an estimate alone for a financial decision.

Agent statistics and profiles

Agent profiles summarize truthful, public-record information about licensed professionals, per our published methodology. Records can lag or contain errors, and statistics summarize the past — they don't guarantee any agent's future performance. The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Verify anything material independently (for licenses, use the California DRE public lookup) before making decisions. Rankings are computed from outcomes on the disclosed methodology; no one can pay to alter a ranking.

Agent matching and introductions

If you ask to be matched with an agent or other service provider, you direct us to share the information you submitted with the professionals you choose. Any agreement you then enter (listing agreement, loan, or otherwise) is between you and that professional — we are not a party to it, and we don't guarantee any professional's performance, availability, pricing, or conduct.

Accounts and submissions

• Keep your login method secure; you're responsible for activity under your account.
• Information you submit must be accurate and yours to share.
• Agents claiming a profile must be the licensee — claims are license-verified, and misrepresenting yourself in a claim is prohibited.
• We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Corrections

If you believe information about you is inaccurate, use the correction process or email support@optionhomes.com. We investigate verified claims and fix confirmed errors.

Acceptable use

• Don't scrape, bulk-download, or republish the site's data without written permission.
• Don't use the site to harass any person or to violate any law, including fair-housing and anti-discrimination laws.
• Don't probe, disrupt, or circumvent the site's security or rate limits.
• Don't use the site's data to make decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, insurance, housing, or employment — this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.

Intellectual property

The site's content, design, and compilations are ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the site for your own, non-commercial purposes. Underlying public-record facts belong to no one.

Third-party links

Links to third-party sites (including agents' own websites and review platforms) are provided for convenience. We don't control and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Trademarks & affiliation

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Association of REALTORS® or any MLS or real estate board. "REALTOR®" appears only as a factual membership designation where applicable. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: the site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, express or implied; we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the site's content; and our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Disputes and changes

These terms are governed by California law, and disputes belong in the state or federal courts located in California. We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change, and continued use after an update is acceptance of the revised terms.
